Katia • My husband worked at the lumber mill near town when he first came back from Donetsk. Was a time when a lot of scrap would was left out for people to take, or really just left lying around. Not anymore. All of it - even the sawdust - is turned into wood pellets and sold to locals. They say it is more efficient to burn than straight wood, as the material is so densely packed. But of course, it costs more as well.
