Katja • When I was here by myself in the winter, I would close off most of the house and just use the rooms on either side of the wall around the gas stove. I could keep warm and the gas bill was not too high. Now with my son and granddaughter here as well, we have to leave all the doors open all the time. There is no heat in their bedrooms except an electric radiator or a heat fan. But the cold from their rooms comes in; now it is colder everywhere else in the house.
